Lyrics
A long, long time before
We forgot what we dancing for
The Maker of everything
Called all the animal chiefs in a ring.
He say, "It time for me to rest,
So I made you all a little test.
Whichever of you can find me
Can choose what the next song will be.
And BANG! He was gone
They brang it on.
And soon it was down to three.
Fancy that devil cat
Predatory diplomat
Playing with her prey for fun
Hunter and the meal are one
Her children of the night
Watch her take a bite
Dancing with the Maker in life.
The multi-colored angel bird,
Prophet on wing, spreading the word
Up above the world so high
Like a rainbow in the sky
His flocks flying as one
Soaring in the sun
Dancing with the Maker in light.
Fashionably late the star primate,
Hip to the jive to interrelate,
Monkey swing, monkey doo
Find the Maker in me and you.
The Age of Swing had begun
The Maker in everyone
Dancing with the monkey in love.
Can you take me back?
Won't you take me back?
Can you take me back
To the Golden Age of Swing?
Let me take you back.
Let me take you back.
Let me take you back
To the Golden Age of Swing.
Let me take you back.
Let me take you back.
Let me take you back
To the Golden Age of Swing.
Let me take you back.
Let me take you back.
Let me take you back
To the Golden Age of Swing.
